A comprehensive examination for our new patients involves a 60 min appointment where we really get to know you and your needs and wants and create a structured health plan for you so that your teeth need nothing but preventative care for the rest of your life. We really listen. We engage and work out the best plan for you. You choose which options work best for you. We start with offering the following tests Blood pressure, blood glucose and a microscopic analysis of the microbiome in your mouth. These tests are complimentary and will help us truly understand your health and how we can help. Then we move onto a very thorough examination of your face and neck, lymph nodes, jaw joints, gums, soft tissues in you mouth, gums, jaw bone and then your teeth. We will educate you every step of the way so you understand what we are seeing. We will use photography both inside and outside of your mouth and scans and X-rays if necessary to complete a very thorough, comprehensive exam. Sometimes we need to review all the details and create a tailored plan for you so we may ask you to return in a few days for a complimentary consult and we can explain all the options and let you choose the path you would like to take. We help you stage and phase your treatment so it works for you and we help with tailoring payment plans if necessary. You will receive a personalised folder with your plan to take home and bring to each and every appointment so you always know where you are at and what needs to be done next.
You have your own patient portal where you can make appointments, check treatment plans and communicate with us.
Once your dental treatment is complete we enter you into our preventive care cycle 6monthly checks and cleans and once every two years X-rays and more extensive tests to ensure we are on track and offering you the best dental care has to offer.
Our concierge will process your account and make next appointments for you. You will be given an at home care pack and we will call the next day to see how you are.
